During a few hectic days last summer, the Oslo quartet Perry Dear & the Deerstalkers turned Bergen upside down with their cheerful rhythms and great stage show. Not only were they regulars on the overnight boat M/S Sandnes – no, they also had several engagements in the “city of seven mountains”.
In common for each and every one of these shows was the audience's unconditional enthusiasm, and within a few days, the people of Bergen had embraced the boys. As the word spread, the group's performances became so popular they drew a full house every night. Unfortunately, this meant that many were excluded from seeing the "heroes" in action. To remedy this, the boys, in consultation with record executive Erik Jansen, decided to release the two most popular Bergen tunes from the summer tour. Enjoy!
